Football season is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome our Basha Bears back to Jim Wall Stadium! While our players and coaches have been putting in countless hours preparing for kickoff, it takes an entire community working behind the scenes to make game nights a success.

How to Choose the Right Volunteer Role for You

At Basha Gridiron, we want every parent and family member to have the opportunity to watch their athlete compete. That's why we encourage families to volunteer during games when their player isn't on the field.

We ask that families follow these guidelines whenever possible:

• Freshman Games: Junior Varsity and Varsity families volunteer.

• Junior Varsity Games: Freshman and Varsity families volunteer.

• Varsity Games: Freshman and Junior Varsity families volunteer.

By volunteering at another level's game, you can support the entire Basha Football program while still being in the stands to cheer on your own athlete during their game.

We understand there may be times when schedules or other commitments make this difficult. If you're unable to volunteer during the recommended level, please choose another available shift that works for your family. Every volunteer makes a difference, and we appreciate your willingness to help.

Together, we can ensure our concession stand runs smoothly while allowing every Basha family the chance to enjoy watching their athlete compete.

What to Expect When You Volunteer

We want every volunteer to feel comfortable and prepared. Whether it's your first shift or you've helped for years, here's what you can expect:

• Arrive Early: Volunteers are asked to arrive before the concession stand opens to help set up, stock supplies, and prepare food and equipment for a successful game day.

• Quick Training: If you're new to concessions, don't worry! Our experienced volunteers will provide a brief orientation and show you everything you need to know before we open.

• Work as a Team: You'll be paired with other Basha Football families, making it a fun and rewarding way to meet people while supporting our program.

• Early Cleanup: To ensure we're finished in a timely manner, we begin cleaning and organizing before the game ends. This allows us to close the concession stand efficiently while still serving our customers.

Our goal is to make volunteering simple, enjoyable, and a great experience for everyone. With a little teamwork, we can keep our concession stand running smoothly while raising valuable funds for Basha Football.
